Dallas – Fort Worth. i have two minutes from the time we land to the time the Orlando flight departs. The gates are next to each other. There are six others going to Orlando. Odds favor us the plane will wait. Otherwise, seven people will need a hotel and flight rebooking.

Travelers show their worst when they are tired, hungry, and anxious. Traveling is not a perfect science. Having margin in your calendar enhances patience.

Because the only hike that remained was the descent, the pressure was off to reach a new destination.
