Walt would recall later, “I was all alone back then, i didn’t even have a Mouse.”

It was on that infamous train ride from New York to California that Walt drew Mickey Mouse for the first time.

Walt replaced Oswald the Lucky Rabbit’s tail with a longer, skinny tail and he replaced the long tall bunny ears with big round mouse ears.

Every Company has a story.

The great ones use their story in intentional ways.

Disney Dream Cruise reflections from Day 4

Good morning sunrise tradition from Deck 12.

Thanksgiving was spent entirely at sea.

Happy Thanksgiving from the breakfast buffet.

Looking left from our deck chairs.

Looking straight ahead.

Looking behind us.

Ran into a colleague from work.

Still writing, even on Thanksgiving. Why? Because it’s a blessing.

What happens to what doesn’t get eaten?

An immediate sanitation and recovery process should the kiddie pool need it.

Disney’s structure and process is unmatched.

Refilling the pool. Notice the fence.

Port hole shows live, real time video from ship.

As promised, in a couple hours, it was time to reopen.

Took copies to dinner to share.

Traditional Thanksgiving meal, served Disney Cruise Line style.

The towel figure is a perfectly timed and themed Moana tribute. Also a rare glimpse of animated port hole images (this time from Toy Story).

When you see Moana this will make perfect sense.

The disembarking process was much easier than i expected.

High expectations officially exceeded.

2016 Disney Dream Cruise Day 5 fond farewell.

Over and over i witnessed and smiled at incredible attention to detail.

If we (Disney) ever miss an opportunity, it’s because we have a blind spot. It’s not because we don’t care or think something isn’t worth it.

Funny how i was visiting as an inspector, but continuously found myself saying the Magic word, “Wow”.
