Couple nights ago at the Italian restaurant with our concert-going friends, our server shared an insight.
She said, “Work is worship“.
Being ever curious, i asked her to unpack it.
She started by saying in India where she is from, work is considered worship. She said work provides you the opportunity to provide for yourself and your family. She finished by saying something to this effect: We ‘worship’ this blessing.
i see it the same and differently…
What i see differently is when i am speaking and advising others through my work, i am blessing them with insight, wisdom, and most importantly practical, lifelong confirmation that my insights and wisdom are the best available for the outcomes i (and they) desire.
