Age of Mastery, at work

Living in the moment. Filmed for a client.

The extra inch is never expected, so you do not need to do it. You have to want to do it. You get to do something you don’t need to do.

Customer Service’s forgotten art (perhaps the unknown art) is using the smallest, easiest detail to exceed expectations.

Spring Break, at work

 Customer service insight
Photo screen shot of Louie’s LinkedIn post. The extra inch is never expected, so you do not need to do it, you have to want to do it. Bottomline, you get to do something you don’t have to do.

Never worked during Spring Break until after i retired from Disney.

dad

Working seven days a week is the only way i know how to maintain balance (vibrancy).

Spring Break is the equivalent of a college student vacation. A getaway from a long and focused journey.

How big can you dream, at work

Pressure washing a driveway
Eric exceeded our expectations yesterday.

How big are your crazy career dreams?

Perhaps your purpose in life is to create a category that doesn’t exist.

To be a category of one.

It will likely take a lifetime.

It will never be guaranteed.

It will be hard and frustrating and scary much of the time.

It will bring you joy and peace and contentment beyond measure.

You will never regret finding your special and unique place in our world.

Do you DU?

Disney University lobby on LinkedIn post
Love that Disney University is on the public social media map for others to see.

Here multiple times each month. i love my hometown.

My first day at Walt Disney World in 1982 was at Disney University. So were my second and third days.

dad

Walt Disney World Cast Member “orientation” is a one-day process at DU.

In 1982 when i started, it was a three-day process at DU.

There are still multiple days to the orientation process, which after Day One is generally continued at the Cast Members respective “home”, aka work location.

Have known Mark, and Galen College of Nursing, for a decade.

What would you do differently if Disney ran your business? Why?

Some favorite questions:

If you didn’t have to work, what would you be doing?

What are you working on now?

Why do you and your company exist?
