Two different worlds

My friend, a Glacier Lodge Summer employee, encouraged me to summit Reynolds. Encouragement is good.

What works for me and what works for others (outsiders) are two different things.

A National Park Lodge employee and i became friends this Summer (2019) and at 24, he has an ambitious, yet unclear, future planned.

Extended an offer to him to text any questions at any time and i will reply quickly. Others did this for me, and i am paying it back or paying it forward.

So has being a father been the most significant thing in your life?

Yes….4-way tie with my birth, marriage, and discovering my purpose

We need starts and we need finishes.

One announces where we are going and why.

The other announces when we have arrived.

My next revolves around key themes:

  • .thinking .differently
  • Leaning into discomfort

Go.

Two years is enough time, but only if you are focused and committed.

Just finished a phone call while stepping onto the gym’s parking lot.

If today was your last day, a Nickelback song, just came on my iPhone.

And now Joe, Anytime Fitness personal trainer, asks me as i walk by, “How are you doing?”

If I was doing any better, i’d have to be twins to handle it all.

Then Joe smiles and says…

Man has two lives to live. His second occurs when he realizes he has one life to live.
