The great Summer of 2012

You have a gift

Leaving yesterday’s presentation, one of the sponsors hollered, “You have a gift”. I really have a hard time accepting comments like this. Hard to feel deserving or worthy. Didn’t give it much thought until I started writing this post.

Actually, we all have “a gift”. It’s called Summer. It’s here. It’s real. We all get the same one. But will we have a hard time accepting it, feeling worthy of it? Or will we unwrap it and live (work) like we mean it?

Summer is often thought of as a time for fun, sun, vacation, freedom, carefree living. But what about our J.O.B.?

Maybe. Just maybe. Maybe we could look at our work with the above attributes and come Fall 2012, we have made a dramatic leap in our ability to do our J.O.B. better than we ever have in the past.
