What did he do at Disney?
Theme Park Operations, Resort Hotel Operations, Disney University and Disney Institute, plus special assignments.
On January 25, 1982, a Monday, Jeff began a three-day Disney Traditions class at Disney University. Disney Traditions teaches Day-One Cast Members Disney’s essential DNA.
On Jeff’s fourth day, he began the one-week, world-famous Jungle Cruise Skipper training.
Moved to Mickey’s Retreat – a Cast Member exclusive recreation complex – for Summer 1982. Left to ride a bicycle across America and then returned to Walt Disney World in 1984.
In 1984, River Country lifeguard was the only available position in a down economy. Six months later Jeff began a 15-year Resort Hotel Operations career, working in Front Desk, Guest Services, Bell Services, and Concierge (and multiple special assignments) for several deluxe Disney Resorts including six years at Disney’s Flagship Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
In 1998 Jeff was asked to join the Disney Institute, The Walt Disney Company’s external training operation. Six months later, he retired from Resort Ops and began a new career as a speaker, advisor, and business coach.
Disney Institute gave Jeff the opportunity to speak and coach full-time for 15 years. This exposure enabled him to positively influence over one-million global business professionals from 2,000 different organizations.
